Established in 2005, Kavalan is Taiwan’s first whisky maker and the nation’s only family-owned whisky distillery.

Kavalan takes its name from the old name for Yilan County and is backed by 30 years of beverage-making, thanks to parent company, King Car Group.

Kavalan is all about excellent whisky and that is also what they seek in the treatment of their wastewater. They have found this excellence in HydroThane anaerobic technology using the ECSB treatment process.
